Catalytic Converter
The catalytic converter (CAT) is a ‘metal box’ found under your car between the engine and the muffler as a part of the exhaust system. Its primary role is to clean up the harmful gas emissions produced when the vehicle runs, turning them into harmless gases such as Co2 and water vapor. This item is heavily stolen in most garages but is also prone to get clogged up due to age of vehicles. A vehicle’s operation is pegged to this and without the CAT engine performance is affected giving bad fuel economy and reduced performance. We offer our services to address this downfall and restore vehicle to optimal performance. We restore engine performance using our researched and tested CAT-E Optimiser.

Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR)
EGR works by recirculating a portion of an engine’s exhaust gas back to the engine cylinders to reduce pollution in the environment. For an engine to perform well an optimal temperature has to be maintained especially for turbocharged diesel engines that burn at very high temperature.
With influx of vehicles in the grey market and our fuel, the EGR system becomes clogged with exhaust gas fumes from the engine which affects ‘breathing’ of the engine. At AutoMate we provide solutions to address these inefficiencies and restore the cars ‘breathing’.

Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF
A diesel particulate filter (DPF) is a device designed to remove diesel particulate matter or soot from the exhaust gas of a diesel engine. In Kenya there is an influx of cars over 7 years therefore we expect to have issues with this filter operation as it also has a ‘expiry date’. This in turn affects the engines operation, giving poor fuel economy, misfires and malfunctions. We work to restore engine performance affected by the DPF with our tailor-made solution

but because we need a lot of inventors”
